Located just outside of Geneva NY, in the Finger Lakes is 3 unique wineries, microbrewery. And café on this outstanding piece of property. Not directly on the lake but a breathtaking view non the less.  There are multiple buildings for each of the wineries /brewery, each with their own vibe. Why do we do so many wine tastings you ask?  Well, most of these places are dog friendly and outdoors, so it is a good venue for the 3 of us.  While we do our tastings, Calli gets pampered by the staff with ice cubes and cold water.  Oh, and lots of loving. She behaves so well and everyone finds that amazing for a 1-year-old pup.  The weather was cool and sunny. Just perfect.  They really put a lot of thought into setting this place all up and it was the place to go to.  We took up some Adirondack chairs facing the beautiful vineyards and mountains along with some others that joined us. Which, of course lead to starting up a conversation. And first questions are usually, “where are you from.”  And in this case…. they were from Vernon NJ.  Not far from where we lived at one time.  Funny how that is.  The older gentleman was a widow and visiting with his daughter and son in law. He was very happy to engage with us for a while, while sipping his beer.  Then it was time for us to depart. We so appreciate meeting people along our journey and sharing our story with them as well.  Life is truly blessing us.
