It is a Sunday night and it is raining. Being “outdoor” people as much as we can, occasionally Mother Nature has other plans. Once the dishes are done and put away after dinner, we open a bottle of wine and its game night. A couple of our favorite games is Skip-Bo along with Rummikub. (We covered the latter in an earlier post) so today it’s all about Skip-Bo.  It’s also a great way to use your mind as well as just spend some un-distracted time together.  And NOT turn on the TV.

The challenge is to eliminate your pile of thirty cards while managing five cards in your hand. Some might say luck comes into play along with strategy and utilizing wild cards. An evening may consist of two or more games (usually three) to determine bragging rights until the next game!
