For those of you that know me, you know that I am a somewhat inquisitive person. I enjoy problem solving and taking simple scenarios and diving into them a bit further. The art of discovery of ideas and thoughts. We were driving one day and we had come from a camping area that was probably the fly capital of the states. No matter how diligent you are, you cannot keep them from getting in. I sat there and wondered. This one fly that is now journeying with us…. does he/she have a family back where we were? Is it panicking now because it is trapped in this giant moving home and leaving behind everything it’s ever known. Will there be a family of other flies back there wondering where he/she is. When we get to our next stop, and if this fly is still alive and set free, can it get back home or will it just relocate? By now you are all probably just laughing about this, but it was truly something that I pondered about. I don’t believe this scenario has any real answer, but it was fun to think about and just wonder. Much like we did when we were a small child and the world was all new to us.
